Restaurant: Haagen Dazs
Location: Leicester Square
Cuisine: Ice cream

Food: One scoop – a chocolate caramelly biscuity thing whose name I have now forgotten (so will obviously need to go and get some more)
Drinks: Cappuccino
Cost: £10.45 including tip
Other tables 4 1: None. One of the most gag-worthy places for a single to hang out – far too many smoochy couples sharing chocolate fondues or eating their weight in ice cream.
Cute clientele: 7/10
Cute staff: 9/10
Food yummy-ness: 8/10
Notes: Mmmmm – need I say more.

Sorry I started eating before I realised I hadn't taken a pic!

Dinner at Sushi Hiroba

Other tables 4 1: a couple of solo guys
Cute clientele: 7/10
Cute staff: 6/10 (they weren’t serving me!)
Food yummy-ness: 8/10
Notes: Who’d a thunk me eating sushi voluntarily – not usually a fish fan, but it was larvely. Really busy restaurant. Sat at the conveyor belt – good for talking to other solo diners. Next time I might be a bit more adventurous! Everything looked gorgeous, even the things that looked like alien body parts!

Dessert at Garfunkel's

Restaurant: Garfunkel's
Location: Tottenham Court Road
Website: http://www.garfunkels.co.uk/
Cuisine: Steak house…actually, who knows, they serve everything!
Date: 09/02/2010
Meal: Dessert
Food: New York-style Baked Cheesecake with red-berry compote(was I supposed to eat something before dessert?!)
Drinks: Diet coke
Cost: £6.80 + tip
Other tables 4 1: two or three other solo diners
Cute clientele: 7/10
Cute staff: 4/10 (they weren’t serving me!)
Food yummy-ness: 5/10
Notes: Yes, I know it’s Garfunkel’s but I needed a table for one. Food was average at best, but good service and I did ask to be sat somewhere quiet and they put me behind a screen – no I wasn’t in the kitchen! Loud soft rock so it wasn’t really that quiet, but they did play “Don’t stop believing” while I was in there, so I can’t complain too much!
